Mitsui-Soko was established in 1909 with its headquarters in Tokyo. Starting originally as a warehousing company, Mitsui-Soko subsequently ventured into Port Terminal operations, trucking freight forwarding, shipping and a host of other related services, and today has emerged as one of the leading international freight forwarding companies with a wide network of branches all over the world.
Mitsui-Soko (Thailand) Co., Ltd. was originally founded with its headquarters situated in Bangkok, and additional branch offices in Laemchabang and Chiangmai.
In 2004, the establishment of Mitsui-Soko (Chiangmai) Co., Ltd. marked its independence from Mitsui-Soko (Thailand) Co., Ltd., enabling us to deliver dedicated and comprehensive support to customers in the Northern region.
MITS Logistics (Thailand) Co., Ltd. was formed in 2006 to facilitate the expansion of our warehousing operations.
In the same year, MITS Transport (Thailand) Co., Ltd. was established to enhance our transportation services.
Furthermore, we inaugurated a new self-owned warehouse in 2014, strategically located near the main port at Bangna Trad Km.19."
